"The Class" is a wonderful, true lesson of expectations

A year in the life of a French teacher and her diverse group of students.

"The Class," the wonderful story of Paris classroom that won the Palme d'Or in Cannes last year, has a different title at home. In France, it is called "Between the Walls", suggesting the pressure within the environment that Mr. Marin (François Bégaudeau) tries to teach his unruly, diverse students.

It also means that educators believe they can close students of the society in general. Director Laurent Cantet's film is a subtle lesson in the true development of more realistic expectations.

After a quick gulp of coffee, Marin begins the first day of the semester, breaking the ice with his new crop of 13 years of age, and interactions are not brilliantly. Children do not accept their authority, mulishly resist his efforts to draw them with questions. Marin, the job is to teach children of various French, but also to socialize at the established culture.

Many of them are not having it. One wonders if gay Marin. Answer "no" and tries to turn the joke at a time to teach the lesson but died in the air. 'My Bloody Valentine' a bloody good time

There is no way to see this string of brutal attacks without seeing the absurdity of it all. Mix of top quality 3D and the film not only pays homage to the original 1981, but until that starts about 1000 notches. Fans of the genre will recognize the family plot. An isolated community, including maids and Megan Sarah (Jaime King and Megan Boone, pictured) becomes the target of a murderer called the Miner.

Chops his way through young and old, while the local police appear just in time to stop the bad jokes about the victims. The Miner is a crazy pick-swinging maniac did to be the sole survivor of a mining accident. Apparently, the mining was stopped after his first killing, but 10 years later back to its old habits. The question is whether the original Miner is back again, or someone is continuing the tradition. This type of horror film has never been about great acting, storytelling or even a serious plot. These movies work if violence makes you laugh and cry at the same time, "My Bloody Valentine 3D" means that in spades. In fact, it does so with a beak.

"Uninvited" uninspired

"New in Town" gives us as Lucy Renée Zellweger, a hard-driving business transferred to Miami ice Minnesota, where the first look down the natives, but learns to look for them.

The film takes the fish out of water and the story makes it pleasant with a couple of intriguing twists. You need not be a Nobel prize to know that she swoon local piece Ted (Harry Connick Jr.), but she falls in love with frigid New Ulm, too. The frostbitten yokels are warm and the sun tan exec reserves cold efficiency to its value at home decency, and all well that ends well.

Written by former Minneapolitan Ken Rance and directed by Jonas Elmer from Denmark, the film squeezes every ounce of sweet comic potential brutal Windchill, Lutheran reluctance bread-and-white kitchen. Lucy the first unit in the city to put its vision in the middle of nowhere, a white and bedraggled leaf farms without pause between the snowy plains and cloudy skies.
