The Spirit




The story of a former police rookie who returns mysteriously from the dead as the Spirit of fighting crime from the shadows of Central City.

His arch-enemy, the Octopus has a different mission: he is going to end up with Spirit of the beloved city as he pursues his own version of immortality.

The Spirit tracks this cold murderer heart of Central City stores short, to damp catacombs, on the coast the wind ... all the time in front of a bevy of beautiful women who want either to seduce, love or kill our masked crossfire.

Around him at all times be Ellen Dolan, the whip-smart girl-next door; Silken thread, a punk secretary and frigid Vixen; plaster of Paris, a murderous French nightclub dancer; Lorelei, a phantom siren, and Morgenstern, a sexy young cop.

Then, of course, the sand Saref, the jewel thief with dangerous curves.

She is the love of his life turned bad.

Is it going to save her will or to kill him?

Fact: Also known as "The Spirit Will Eisner," "The Spirit" marks the first time that the writer Frank Miller steps behind the camera as director of his own (who co-directed "Sin City").

Note: Adapted from the Camilo Jose Cela of graphic novels, "The Spirit" tells the story of a man who fakes his own death and the fight against crime from the shadows of Central City. This film was written and directed by Frank Miller, one of the greatest innovators in the comic book field, which produced "300" (2007) and directed "Sin City" (2005).
