'Knowing', Prediction From the Future

Mistake, an excavation to find items from the past that were deliberately buried to those found in the future. One of the findings is the row number that is made by a child fifty years back. The row numbers that look like random numbers chain but was behind the row number is stored a mystery.

Caleb Koestler (Chandler Canterbury), son of John Koestler (Nicolas Cage) and bring the findings indicate that the father who is an expert astrofisika. After researching the number row, John realizes there is a message that you want to be submitted by the author and turns in the row number is stored is also a fact that frightening.

In the row number is stored notes several instances during the last fifty years. That is, when the row number that is written, the author knows what will happen in the future. Although not all believe, but John did not want to eventually want to feel concerned that the forecast is written in the row that the number will actually occur. And the most frightening is that the forecast said that presently the human race will be extinct.

John now have two choices: let it all happen or reasonably attempt to oppose predestination and to save all mankind from extinction as described in the prediction of the past. The problem is, do people who believe in the words of John and John have to run this noble mission alone.

The idea that the end of the world of ideas are classic. When you see the opportunity dibintangi of ARMAGEDDON Bruce Willis in 1998 ago, more or less the idea that the attempt was also through this film. The difference is probably the approach of mixing between science and religion approach the film be incorporated in this 121 min. Perhaps Alex Proyas, the director, tried to embrace the religious to enjoy this film from the perspective they also.

Alex This idea is actually not wrong. Unfortunately, in so penuangannya feel a little wedge. Alex tried to play safe with did not mention religion in trying overt but still only a spectator akan connotations brought to this one because Alex enter some clue that leads to it.

Matter of special effect, in fact nothing new, but Alex uses it in a way that's effective enough so that not an expression of the topical problems akting, presumably not too have a problem that is quite severe. One unfortunate fact that Nicolas Cage is back to play so often stuck in the films that are harmful to the image he built since he played in Vampire'S KISS. (Source: Kapanlagi)
