SOLSTICE, Day Two Meets World

Although six months have elapsed but Megan (Elisabeth Harnois also can not forget the chilling kembarnya brother died when suicide. This is his fourth to make Megan feel the need to reassure Megan how mengajaknya holiday.

Megan finally give in and are willing to join with Christian (Shawn Ashmore), Zoe (Amanda Seyfried), Mark (Matt O'Leary) and Alicia (Hilarie Burton) on holiday in a lake in Louisiana. Vacation time that they select is the solstice day at noon so which is longer than usual.

People believe that on the day of the unseen world is very close to the human world, and so sometimes there are people who can relate to people who have died on that day. He also experienced the feeling that Megan's brother kembarnya try menghubunginya since he arrived in the lake. Later, Megan realized that trying menghubunginya brother kembarnya but not the power that seeks to enter the world.

Also quite difficult to take the film titled SOLSTICE this as a horror movie. Perhaps a more appropriate film drama is about the same as the concept of ghost that carried the film GHOST first. SOLSTICE can not be categorized as horror movie there is no element of 'shock' which is the main element of a horror movie. In some scenes there is a little 'tension', but that appears not strong enough to make it into a film that 'scarry'.

Scene-classic horror movie scenes such as a radio that suddenly the car sounds or lights that flash-off may be intended to bring spectators to the tense atmosphere as they should. But such a classic scene that is not offset with mystery and surprise element is something that eventually becomes stale and useless. At the horror movie that has been circulating in the market as the directors are required to produce something that still 'fresh' and not get stuck on the general guidelines to make a horror movie have expired.

Finally, SOLSTICE is a product so that one package. Had the film made with the basic concept of a film drama, then so can he have more value. Akting supporting the comfortable enough while seen from the production side, the film is quite good considering the pembuatannya fund that is not too large. (Source: Kapanlagi)
